6:00 pm - 8:00 pm:
Specialty Classes and Programs
Time allocated to various special classes and programs that may run throughout the year at anytime. Keep an eye on the board or facebook for details.

- Tuesday Classes -

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm:
NOVICE Class - mixed class (children and adults) - Intermediate Orange through to Intermediate Green ranks
  . . .  
Dedicated to beginners of all ages, this class is intended to give all beginners the attention they need without feeling overwhelmed by advanced material. It is great class to further your basics after completing our beginner program.
Being mixed age class allows you to do an activity together with your child.
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm:
WEAPONS Program
Programs are focused on traditional Okinawan weapons art - Kobudo
Each program is dedicated to one of the traditional Okinawan weapons and runs for approximately 8-16 weeks depending on material taught. New student intake with any level 1 programs.
Special conditions to participate apply - seek Sensei's approval prior to attending.

- Wednesday Classes -

6:00 pm - 6:30 pm:
LITTLE TIGERS Class - Class dedicated to our youngest students
  . . .  
Class teaching focus, concentration and the ability to follow instructions along with the basics of karate.
This class is especially designed for students ages 6 and under.
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm:
BEGINNER Program Students enrolled in our beginner program.
Especially designed for everyone who would like to start karate. This class provides you with good knowledge and understanding of the basics. Giving you the tools and confidence to move into the NOVICE Class.
Beginner Program provides for up to 3 months of training, however most students move to regular training within 1-2 months.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm:
INTERMEDIATE Class - Green ranks and higher
  . . .  
Intermediate and advanced students of all ages. Class offers increased difficulty from novice classes. More focus is given to realistic and practical applications.
7:30 pm - 8:00 pm:
ADVANCED STUDY Class
Class is available to invited students usually of Green belt or higher.
This is a good way to expand on your practical skills and extend your training.

- Thursday Classes -

ADVANCED Class - Advanced training open to 2kyu ranks (or Blue/Black belt) and higher

Advanced students of all ages. Class is focused on precise and high level performance, with strong attention to technical details. This is more intense and detailed class for the senior students.

- Friday Classes -

6:00 pm - 6:30 pm:
BEGINNER Program Students enrolled in our beginner program.
Especially designed for everyone who would like to start karate. This class provides you with good knowledge and understanding of the basics. Giving you the tools and confidence to move into the NOVICE Class.

TOURNAMENT TEAM Review for students participating in tournaments
You will receive feedback and advice on the things to work on and improve on your kata.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm:
INTERMEDIATE Class - Green ranks and higher

Intermediate and advanced students of all ages. Class offers increased difficulty from novice classes. More focus is given to realistic and practical applications.
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm:
SPARRING Class - open to Orange ranks and higher (talk to Sensei prior to attending)
Students must have all required sparring gear to be able to participate in this class!

Sparring class is focused on cardio workout and sparring techniques and strategies.
This class is strongly recommended for students of Purple Belt and higher as well as students wishing to attend tournaments.
Required Sparring gear:
- mouthguard
- sparring gloves
- shin and instep guards
- head gear (students 14 years old and younger)
- groin protector (male students)
Optional Sparring gear:
- chest guard
- forearm guards
- head gear (students 15 years old and older)
- groin protector (female students)

At Spirit First Martial Arts Dojo we practice and teach traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate and Kobudo, which consists of Chubu Shorin Ryu, Machimura Seito Shorin Ryu and Koga Ryu Kobudo (weapons' art) martial arts.
